    Verus Wireless Scan Module dead?

    Hi
    I bought a used wireless.
A year, something, later the Scan Module seems to have problems connecting to the main unit.
When I plug it to the car - Vehicle power LED (green) - lits.
Then - Bluetooth LED (green) - lits for a second.
No light on the - Communication issue LED (red).
The main unit doesnt get contact to it.
Is there any way of testing the Scan Module?
Can I even get a new one? Perhaps the Verus Pro one would work?
    Thanks fellows!

Make sure it is still paired correctly to your Verus.
If it is, maybe try connecting to the scan module with the USB cable instead of bluetooth.

If that fails, call Tech Support. 800-332-2526

So it needs to be sent to SnapOn in UK to be repaired.
When I was trying to take a video on what happens when I plug it into the computer - not easy with two hands - all of a sudden - the Update window came up!! An there was connection!!
At first the Green connection (Bluetooth) light was on longer than before.
        A red light blinked inside.
Then the green light went off and on the opposite side, diagonally, there was again, a red light inside. Picture of that light. This light was lit steady.

I could find this info on update.

And there is a loooong list of reazons why the update wont proseed.

So - I have tried to do the update before without succeeding. Its annoying to get that reminder every time you plug it into a car - and sometimes perhaps you happen to click on the wrong button....

          Ths scan module was defect.
I now have a scan module that can update firmware and read USA cars around year model 2000. The defect module could only read engine ecu - none of the other modules.
