I have a solus, the one the same as the pro and want to upgrade my software. The US is charging £600 a year for a years upgrade but I have been told it is £900 in the Uk. I have also been told that I can not upgrade to the new update out in 2015 as the upgrade is too big. Can anyone shed some light on this.

The original Solus, not the Solus Pro will be updated until Version 15.2
After that, support ends for that scanner. As for pricing, I can't help you with that.

As for the Software in the United States, the European coverage is still an extra cost option here . So maybe the price difference you are seeing is because it's all or nothing in the UK?
I beleive Snap On is eventually just going to have to sell rebadged versions of a Launch , or Autel Tablet with daily Global updating of the car lines from a server in China , and the Software writers in the USA and UK just dedicate all the resources to an excellent troubleshooter and information system , and spell checking the ChinglishComment
