Default FJDS timed PATs

Interesting discovery today. I frequently have used Ford FJDS to learn PATs keys on the Fords that have a timed security access. I was going to add a key to a 2015 Focus but when I got to the FJDS PATs menu it asked me not just for a NASTF credentials but also a Motorcraft registration password. In the past vehicles that had timed access (10 minutes) did not require and registrations. It must have changed just in the past few weeks as I just used it to add a key to a 2010 Mustang.

Yes, that is correct. FMC has moved from timed access to coded access, in attempt to reduce fraudulent vehicle thefts.
