      A USB keyboard should work.

Thanks for reply. Is this common when trying to charge? What do I do to get to do system restore? Not familiar with tool. Appreciate it.

Do you think there is a problem with the tool? This is the first time I charged using ac adapter. Tool was off. Sparked when plugged in. The battery case screw was broke plastic furrule. I ordered new battery. Hope it doesn't happen again.

I don't know if there's a problem with it or not. If I had to guess, it will be OK.

Thanks Joe for all your help. One last question. I seen training video from snap on regarding top level menus.... Click component tests then click menu and it should be listed there. I do not have it listed there. Any ideas. It is on YouTube verus edge diagnostic quick tips alternator ripple test snap on training solutions that's with no vehicle picked.... Lots of training and testing information. Any ideas. Mine just says under menu help and safety info. Must have got rid of it in the edge or incorporated into component test program. Thanks again Joe.
