I just put the solus on a 2004 Jetta TDI. Was not impressed again. No data on the engine. I just spent big money to get the euro. And I just get codes. What's up with that?

our soulus pro too has some vehicle data fields empty for live data...but this isnt just related to snappy as launch, and even vcds doesnt cover all the label files for all ecu's they cover.
theres no excuse for it i know but just one of those things that slip past the developers sometimes.Comment

Yes, I have found some VW's that are missing the data also, when you find this PLEASE post with Year, Make, Model, engine size, engine code (example ABA), VIN and take a screen shot of the module ID page and add all that to your posts. It will help the developers figure out the problem.
Thanks!

Look at the Ross Tech website for info. It will walk you through all the retarded VW/Audi diagnosis, and since Snappy uses VagCom, it is quite pertinent to using the Snappy software..

Funny thing......just yesterday I was looking at a snappy advertisement for the Ultra in a trade magazine (ya, the old fashioned paper printed one), and it said the Ultra provides "data (PIDS)"......
As for being a specialist or expert, V=IR, no matter if you're working on a North American vehicle, or you have to squint really hard to change the slant of your eyes, or you have to put a box on your head....V still = IR.
Thanks for the pdf Nick. More reading (= good)Comment
