    2006 bmw x5

If ya go into abs you can pull codes but it would be nice if the troubleshooter had some info on those codes. the manufactures have all diagnostic information squirrled away in their laptops so nobody else can find it. maybe have those codes listed in troubleshooter or on this forum?

btw it was a d35b dsc sensor error is the specific code

Euro does not have the pleasure of getting Troubleshooter, yet.

I agree with you. The European manufacturers have found a VERY CLEVER WAY of CIRCUMVENTING the NASTF agreement by "squirrelling away" the service information.

HARDLY what the spirit and intent of the NASTF voluntary program was trying to do. ONLY in the OE tools, which means that only their dealers, or specialty shops who can find the ROI to purchase their proprietary scan tools have the SI to check, test and repair their vehicles.

V=IR no matter where the vehicle was designed and built. Same goes for Pascals law regarding hydraulics.

The arrogance of the "Euro crowd" is astounding.....almost as bad as the owners of those vehicles, of which here are two types.....those that can afford to maintain and repair them, and, those who just have a status symbol and a broken horseless carriage....LOL

This kind of attitude and tactic makes it very difficult for companies like SO, or any other aftermarket scan tool manufacturer to provide the complete information we need to do our jobs in a professional manner.

Yup, it'd be nice if the information was in throubleshooter, and it is for a great many codes and vehicles, just not as complete for Euro.
