    Engine oil life percentage (where)?

I have a Solus Pro that I only use every few months. (ver. 10.2)

I want to check the engine oil life of my wife's 2001 Grand Am, but I have forgotten how to find it. I know my Solus Pro will display it (and allow it to be changed), but for the life of me I can't remember how to get to it.

    Please help.

    Thanks.

If you haven't figured it out by now, it should be listed under special functions. It may only have a reset option tho. Check all the data pids if you want the actual percentage. That is if it's available.

Yeah I used it a few days ago. It's under the engine stuff.

        Select "Functional Tests" Then....

Scroll down to "Output Controls" Then....

Scroll down to the bottom, (or up to the bottom ... if that makes sense).
Select "PERCENT ENGINE OIL LIFE (%)"

In my case I have ver. 10.2 and the percent engine oil life is the first from the last item in the list. I then set the percent engine oil life to 100% (which it usually is anyway, because I change the oil every 3,000 miles).

A simpler way is the reset button in the fuse box. (2001 Pontiac Grand Am).
