meciu Congratulations! Your peers have given you enough reputation to put you into the fist level!

Default PDL5000 Software update failed.

Maybe someone will help mi with this issue.

I had to replace MicroSD card (broke it); bought new, boot up in service menu, formatted it and prepared for recovery.
Hooked up device to PC with USB cable, opened ShopStream Connect, selected "Connect to PC" in service menu.
Device is successfully recognized. shows licence vaild till 2020, and update notification pops up, so accepted it, update downloads and installs succefully, prompts me to disconnect device and reboot it and then after device reboot "Software update failed" error pops up with beeping sound.

Of course I can force run "GEP2013" app within Service Menu, but everytime I select any diagnostic menu it shows me message about unactivated device.

What should I do with this issue?

SnapOnKid Made it to level 2! Looks like you are on your way to becoming famous

I am guessing the is a European based tool.

Do you have a local Dealer? He may be able to recover it for you. If not you likely need to contact the local repair facility in your area.
