    Verus Suretrack Help

I purchased new Verus March 2015, My Suretrack has expired, my Fix-It tab will not let me go forward, tells me I must update. My Snap On route guy, who is the best, says we need to wait until Feb to update. I run Prodemand SE in my shop, I also pay for there management program. I called Snap On, tell them my issue , they basically tell me my Fix-It button will not work until I update. I can actually login to my Pro Demand and go to the Fix It and Suretrack button on my laptop but not on my Verus. I do not get this, It makes no sense to me , That sure seems like a slippery slope Snap On is on . Snap On owns Mitchell and Pro Demand. They need to get there thinking caps on this. Sorta rubs me wrong, I guess I could use my Verus as a boat anchor. Anyone ran into this problem. I got no assistance from calling them.

First off....welcome to these forums. GOOD people here.

Second, I hope NICK chimes in here and contacts you to resolve the issue.

Sometimes the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and things aren't synchronized. If you're able to get in with one method, you should be able to get in with other devices and methods as well. Just my opinion but I understand.

    Good luck.

Thanks Crust, You should go to work for Snap-On, you understand my issue. I spoke to 2 guys on the phone the last 2 days who just do not get it. I guess my perception is this, Why should I not stay with my Verus, if I must pay for the same program twice. Should I do Identifix and Suretrack. I sorta feel like the guy having to take his automobile back to the dealership and on top of that having to pay twice. I owned this shop for 40 years now, always used Snap On, loyal to them as my customers are. I just do not think this is the right way to do it. I hate my first post is negative, I just feel like this issue needs to be looked at. Thanks again.

        Repair info expiration

Have you talked to your dealer about setting your unit up on a subscription. It's something like $25 per week and your tool is always up to date! It is also cheaper than paying for an update every six months. It is even cheaper than that for the Modis, Solus, and Ethos units. Check it out. Just an idea.
