MT2500 Programmable Cartridge Problem

I have the 2 black programmable cartridges (VCI & TSI) with ver 8.2 with Domestic, Asian and European software on them. When I plug in the VCI the scanner gives me a "Disconnect power,insert cartridge" error message. It does the same thing when I swap slots also. I went to a garage where a buddy of mine works, and they also have a mt2500, and when I tried my cartridges in their scanner, up came the same message. He left the TSI in and placed another VCI and it worked fine. So the problem is with my programmable VCI.

Just wondering what my options are. My VCI is a much needed item and I would like to get it working again.

Sound like your gonna have to find another good used cartridge.

Snap on discontinued the mt 2500, the cartridges, and software updates for them...

other option would be to get a Solus Pro. Thats what is replacing the the mt 2500 platforum.
