PTP4 Software install / connecting to PC

    PTP4 Software install / connecting to PC

    Have a PTP4 for a few years. Worked great with windows 8. I Installed the wiTECH 2.0 stuff few days ago and ended up losing connection with the device.
    Reinstalled the tool box and worked until I disconnected the box. The device manager sees the box now software fails to install (after a fresh windows install).
    Bought a new computer and seems to connect (windows 11) and will connect to a car.
    I am trying to find out do I have a computer problem or could wiTECH have been the cause. I installed FJDS and it seems to be working ok.
    Any thoughts?

    I would contact Tech support and ask them

      I found my org install disc. after updating windows I will give an update.

        Well no dice. PTP software installs then fails..
        Even after formatting the laptop.
        I bought a new laptop and back up and running.
