Maybe if the back of the Verus VCI had a couple short leads (+ and -) to plug the scope probes into , to run a quick unsyched relative compression test from voltage, it would be unnecessary and quicker than pulling out a 16 pin DLC breakout box to run the same test.

I was impressed that this test can be done so quickly from inside car off a 16 pin DLC break out box. I'm surprised Snappy main cable for the Modis or the VCI for a Verus Edge doesn't incorporates a B+and B- female hole recepticle or leads off the main cable for the scope probes to quickly attach and run relative compression test inside car without a need for a DLC breakout box between
