    Analyzing and interpreting patterns

Hi everyone, glad to be a part of this forum!
I just purchased a Zeus and acquired all the addon equipment in order to use the scope for pretty much any kind of test.
What I am currently wondering is, where do people actually get the knowledge to understand what is going on in a waveform?

I see tons and tons of videos on Youtube. Especially the ones with Bernie Thompson, and it's amazing to me how he can just look at the screen and know exactly what's going on.

I have a pretty decent understanding of electricity and circuit testing. I just want to learn as much as I can with the scope part of everything.

Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated, and thanks for having me!

I think it's like any other learned skill. You've got to get in there and do it. Having access to a good waveform library helps too. The best reference at the moment is the waveform library the members can access at the IATN.
