I'm sure this is answered here, but I can not find it.
where is the home button, the one that takes me back to the start color
screen and left side choices off all things it can do.

there are 2 places to be, obd2 pages and obd1 legacy
and I am on the pick the car pages, and have to pick year, car, engine etc.
if I want to go back to the home page there is no home button.
or I am doing it all wrong.
sorry for such and old scan tool (that I love) and how to do such a simple task.

so far my only cure is power off button and start anew.

question #2, how to get to the windows CE home page, desktop, is this possible from the main boot home page.

question #2, how to get to the windows CE home page, desktop, is this possible from the main boot home page.

#1. Once you're in the scanner and want to get back to the home screen: Hit the left arrow button once. Hit the N key a few times.

#2. Plug a USB mouse into it. Click on the windows start menu when it appears on the bottom left of the screen. Be careful of what you mess with in there. There's no way to get an update to recover it.

#1. Once you're in the scanner and want to get back to the home screen: Hit the left arrow button once. Hit the N key a few times.

To add to what joe said, when the scanner button on the top toolbar is highlighted, the up/dn arrows and Y/N operate the scanner. If you hit the left or right arrow and move the highlight off the scanner button, you are then operating the top tool bar. Pressing N at that point backs out of scanner.
