Solus Legend's Harley Connect

When trying to connect to my 2010 Harley with an aftermarket Har-1, Solus Legend 20.4, will show make, model, and vin. Why will it not connect to ecm? Any ideas?

I've been wondering about that myself. I wound up with a sweet deal on the kit, so I took it, but I was wondering if they have something inside the adapter that the scanner needs to read in order to fully hook up.

I have two cheap ones I got off amazon I use with the cheap scanner I have at home, they read, but just the generic code, nothing more on that scanner (an Autel) I haven't tried them on my legend.
