    Solus+ Battery Charging Time

I bought a new Solus+ last month to replace my Snap-On Brick MT-2500. Charging the Solus+ is leaving me confused as the Battery Charging Indicator shown in the online product manual does not match the device's display.

I can't find a projected charging time estimate in the online product manual; after 14 hours on AC charge, the glyph at the screen top right shows a hollow outline a battery, not an outline filled with cross-hatches for a fully charged battery. The displayed glyph suggests the battery is barely charged.

How long should an AC charge take from nearly dead to full charge?

I would contact tech support about this. It shouldn't take more then an hour or two to charge back up. Also if you only has he tool on when plugged into an OBD II vehicle it should maintain its charge from the vehicle. I rarely have to charge any of my scanners.

Is the battery installed? If there is no battery or a faulty battery the battery status will not change.

as mentioned, You may use the scanner connected to the vehicle power but it will not operate when the vehicle power shuts down from the dlc.

Charge time found here in the user manual under general information> Specifications:

Full charge takes about 5 hours. in about 3 hours it will be most of the way there.

Contact information for Customer Care is also found in the user manual and on the website. They are there to help
