Just bought a used solace ultra from a garage and I noticed every time I use it it pulls the battery down on the car plus the battery in it doesn't stay up very long anybody got any suggestions I know the history is full I thought about deleting some of that but not sure how anybody got any ideas thanks in advance.

If the battery in the unit can run the scanner, then I can't imagine it running a car battery down. The cable is fused at 10 amps. Even if it drew the full 10 amps, which it doesn't come close to, a good car battery could power it for hours. In reality, the car should consume more amps from the battery than the scanner would.
So to directly answer your question, There is no reason that a scanner will run down a good car battery if you're using it for normal diagnostic purposes. If you have the scanner on it long enough to kill the battery without the engine running, you'd need a charger on it anyway, because regular KOEO loads from the car would run it down.
