Vantage Pro last update

I'd like to update my vantage pro to the last update of 17.4, am I going to have issues when calling my old snap on vendor?

I'm not certain, but I believe that Dealers can only flash the current update on their trucks. I'm pretty sure you'd have to find a spare CF Card 17.4 Update, and that would be a long shot.
Give him a call and see what he says though.

Unfortunately you're not going to find a 9 year old update for that. There may have been a chance of finding one on EBay or something similar, but I really doubt it at this point. At least it's not like a scanner where you can't use it on newer vehicles. It's just the Component Database that's out of date.

Good news is that 17.4 update for Snap on Vantage Pro is available. My local snap on tool dialer can do it. He updated mine on the truck. But then why do you even need to updated it? It doesn't upgrade anything about the tool, just updates the coverage on the guided test information.
