I have an old vantage its a good meter apart from high battery consumption. Its so quick to get what i need without lots of menus etc. The problem i have with this tool is its almost impossible to turn off unless i leave it to time out. I have a friend that has this problem with his also so it must be common?
I have tried cleaning the on/off putton pad and contacts on the board but it made little difference. I impoted this meter myself from the US some years ago and was like this when i got it but seems to have got worse and 99% will not turn of with the button. Does Anyone have a fix for this problem??
Even if i update to a more capable tool i wont be getting rid of this great bit of kit.
