Like the new quick lookup tab. Was hoping for something to help program a key for a 2010 ram, but I guess I'll have to wait.

I think for the last decade or so my present and last Generic $99.99 Earl Chive Port Cargo Cent Check code scanner with broken cable always display # of incompleted monitors before you even pull the codes.

Kind of reminds me of the hoopla the Harley Evolution Engine recieved in 84, when they finally came out of the Iron age.

Hey, I don't buy into any New Scanner Hype , whether or not I buy new Midas Touch Scanner with the latest updates. Sooner or later something I touch is still going to turn into Sh@t instead of gold

I would think that the software update should be about the same for most of the scanners. Internet connectivity might limit some functions though. It has a new look when doing the code scan and they push the Sure Track stuff a little harder.

The new look. The Sure Track thing at the top of the page can be minimized. The Oil Specs and Resets on the Systems Menu page seems to be a link to the Quick Look Ups tab on the home page without the TSBs. The Quick Look Ups tab/icon takes the place of the old TSBs icon.

Actually I think having the generic OBD2 information displayed is good idea and hopefully saves folk time from having to go into Generic OBD 2 separately, and hopefully besides displays the completed monitors, pending codes and any proprietary funky Farfignuegen definitions of factory code put into layman terms or an equivalent generic OBD code next to the factory code.
Kinda sad to see the former built in Sure Track Trouble Shooter seems to have gone to being internet based and accessed by links and access to the Trouble shooter dependent on a current subscription.

                  Attempting to download

I'm not sure if its my Verus D10 or what, but the 16.4 download has failed in the last 6 attempts. Has anyone else had an issue??

Mine failed once. I brought it home and downloaded it again with no issues.

Have you noticed that with GMs anyways the Verus will automatically Id the vehicle, no prompting required. It also recognizes when you have switched vehicles, again, I think it might just be a GM thing. The vehicle report as a PDF is also a nice touch. It can be accessed through the attachments link or through the documents library. maybe that was there before but I just started saving vehicle histories this way. Nice !

you know how you can go through component test to the scope and then are able to put that in its own screen so you can go back into scan data and then pull up the scope in the separate window and view them both at the same time. I really wish Snap On would give us that same luxury with the scope tab.
Why can't I do that with the scope. Why make me go all the way through component test to get it.
I understand it's not that big of a deal but it is kind of a pain to have to go from one to the other when I want it

I like the scroll feature on data lists in 16.4, where now it scrolls down 1 line at a time when you get to bottom of page, where as before, when you hit bottom of page, it changed to next whole page.
