The Bi Directional control for the Low and High speed fan's do not work in the 24.2 software. According to some other reports it hasn't worked in the snap on software for a while as I found reports from other users that they could not Control the Fans on there snap on scanner as far back as 3 years ago. It also affects the 2.0L engine on this platforum.
The low speed Fan on the vehicle I am working on does function at a predetermined temperature, The High speed fan also comes on when you enable the AC. How ever it does not function from the Scan tool side when you command it on and off. I was trying to make sure it wasn't shutting down prematurely do to thermal overload as the vehicle appears to have a cooling issue under load.
