    Boot Verus D10 on VM

My Verus D10 doesn't power on at all. The Power split seems fine and cleaned the Power button contacts. Converted the hard drive into a VM disk for Hyper-V. The OS boots, but when loading the diagnostic software, it halts with the message:

    Hardware Initialization Warning
The application has detected that the hardware is not fully initialized.

    Please re-launch the application.

If the problem persists, please reboot your device and then re-launch the application.

    The application will now exit.

Since this is so old and no longer serviced at all, is there a way to emulate the hardware?

There are a couple of good threads on here of guys converting the hard drives to faster ones. Maybe do a quick search and see if anything there helps. Most guys here, including myself, aren't skilled PC hardware guys. I've got no other good advice on this.
