Why post that here? This thread is a dead thread.

Before you posted here it was almost 2 years since this thread was active...,

It was for a really old Service realease around 9.2 or so..

Post it in a new thread. In the Verus users forum of course..

And why doesn't Snap-on take this thread down?

I'm glad they have not taken it down, it's neat to go back and read the evolution of the Verus!

Does it matter what software version you have? I just purchased a Verus with 12.4 a and was wondering if the update will work,?

There have been service releases for all the updates. Your tool will automatically do the update when you turn it on and it is online. You can also click on the little white box at the bottom right on the windows screen. You can then choose "check for updates"

To check what update you are at, clickmon the menu icon at the bottome of the screen, then version info. You should have 12.4.2
