    Custom Avatar Disappearing

Any of you use a custom avatar in SureTrack? Does it revert back to one of the standard ones from time to time? Mine seems to but I don't know if being an admin has anything to do with it.

    Thanks.

I do, mines been fine since I added it.
My points on the leaderboard vary all over the place from day to day though. And almost never match those under my avatar.

oh...and spell check is worthless. It really is....total garbage.

I completely GAVE UP complaining about the spell check. In fact it INHIBITS participation it is such a PITA...EVERY time you try to post something. I even sent in pictures of the words it didn't like....common words too.
      Yup, it's worthless....total garbage.

I'm sorry the spell check is not working as well as it could. I tend to just hit cancel when I'm editing users' posts.

Not sure when it will get addressed.

I always just skip it because its so horrible. Its almost always gets at least one tense and plurals wrong...it also seems to get lost with participles and gerunds. It won't even remotely have a clue what I'm writing,Common ones it lately hasn't liked are things like "spreading" and "reevaluate"

Do any of you use the "Add to dictionary" choice when it hits words you know are correct?

I use the spell check on occasion, it is frustrating to work with. I do use the "add to dictionary" to keep from editing unknown words over and over.

I reported the problem with spellcheck, not recognizing plurals etc.. a long time ago, also. I started writing on Word and letting it's spell check handle that part and then paste it to the forum threads/posts.

You would think something so basic would have been fixed by now. As Crusty stated it is more of a hinderence than a help at times.

No, I typically just go by what firefox shows and hit "finish spell checking" to exit out of Suretracks attempt, but Ill try adding manually over my next couple posts to see how it works.

Nick, I have had to add my personal avatar a few times. Seems whenever we launch an upgrade requiring a login. I have found spell check works better with chrome. The spell check on this site works well. Hint.

Yes I tried the "add to dictionary" and it didn't like that at all and scrambled the site and I even had to re-type some posts more than once.
Tried it about 5 or 6 times and then GAVE UP on that too.
As Bob has indicated, I will, occasionally, just type up a response and paste it in but that is also cumbersome, and I can only do that at home evenings and weekends. On my cell phone during the day....forget it-!!
Another thing is, the font size in the reply box is miniscule compared to the posted comments area. Makes it even harder to type in there which creates more misspelled words....and thus just adding to the FUBAR.

This site is I believe a 3rd party forum software suite, vBulletin. Its a quality product with many thousands of forums running on it(I ran my own forum on vB4 for several years).....I dont know whats going on over at suretrack, but it would be nice if it was more like vB

SureTrack is also built off commercial forum software but it's so heavily modified with a lot of custom parts to make it work with the unique data included in the site.

I'm still having trouble with my custom avatar disappearing.

Anyone else have it happen in the last week?

I have noticed that it will work in test sites but not when it reverts to live, same goes for attachments.
