Edit but no Delete

You can edit your post but if you post something in the wrong place or accidently double post, there is no delete function and you can't erase the entire post because it won't allow you to post nothing.

Admins can delete posts. You can flag it using the Report Abuse link or let me know what needs to be deleted. I can delete individual replies or the entire thread. I delete duplicate postings all the time.

I was wondering why we can't delete our own posts ?

Users deleting their own posts in a forum can be problematic. Would need to set it up so that there was a time limit and also prevent people from deleting a post that has been quoted.
