Seat Leon immobiliser

Hi all
I've got a mission with solus pro 11.2,
Need to program new key to Seat leon,customer lost keys.
I've got new key done but obviously it won't start the car it is immobilised.

I had a look on ross tech wiki but no info about this model so I'm a bit stuck now.

I'm fairly certain that you will need a security login code to even attempt this with the majority of scantools.

Seat may supply code but you'll be very lucky if they do, VW/Audi wont so i'd expect it to be the same situation with Seat.

If you do manage to source code then i think snap-on will do this task but not sure how you'd attempt it.

Probably through 17 instrument cluster or 25 immobiliser.

Sounds sensible,I did a bit of research and I do need login pin code,it may be read out from the instrument pack ,but not with solus pro etc.

ebay often lists equipment for reading pin codes but how reliable they are i haven't a clue.

I bought VAG Commander,apparently it should do the job,well we'll see...,I'll report back on results

yep..vag commander will do it,just leave youre snappy to reading codes.lol

Not much luck,be careful these blue ones from ebay for £20 dont't work or if they do it' is nightmare,
I've managed to buy a good one from ebay for about £60 but it's not over:

I can connect to engine and read eeprom with login code but the code doesn't work solus says login attempt not succesful,anyway I need to do more research on this one

If i remember correctly on some of the VAG models you need to add a 0 (zero) before the extracted pin code. I think it pulls a 4 digit code but should be a 5 digit code.

Yes,solus asks for 5 digit with 0 in front but no luck
