Do or Die 100k 2006 Acura TL transmission flush

This is a 5-speed automatic, normally all you are told you can do is a drain and fill where you can just get out less than 4 qts of ATF. Bull bsh@t. There is a small cartridge filter behind a small cover with 3 bolts and tube and Banjo bolt fitting attachment at the center of the cover at the upper left rear side of the of the back of transmission about 3 inches from the body rail under the air cleaner box that you need to remove to access the cartridge filter housing .Initially I put the same amount of Valvoline full synthetic MaxLife ATF in the trans as the old Z1 fluid drained. With the banjo bolt off and line moved out of way. I had my customer start up the car for a few seconds to see that nasty old fluid came out of the center hole of the filter housing, not the clean stuff I just put in. Turned off the engine kept adding more clean fluid until after 9qts of new Valvoline Maxlife full synthetic was in the case before fluid started coming out looking red.I changed the small cartridge filter , o-, ring , filter seal and banjo bolt washers, that normally would not ever be touched till an overhaul. I tossed the old cartridge in drain pan and it fell apart in pieces. How do you expect that to last more than 10 years?I made kind of a mess and required a jumbo length catch pan , but just figure it as free rust proofing for a little longer.

7 months and 17k later VSA lamp still on

She's back after spending $133 for a dealer multi point inspection on her 06 Acura TL, just to get a $12,000 laundry list of car needs from an Acura dealer inspection and She didn't even get the VSA neutralization procedure done to get rid of the annoying yellow triangle with exclamation mark, ($6k of the laundry list was for a Reman trans.
I pull Automatic trans code 27-3 (P0872)4th pressure switch circuit low and 40-3 (P0741) trans fluid is discolored already but can't really smell a burnt odor. See Some black metallic slurry on magnet of drain bolt, but nothing to indicate any major trans failure. Shift solenoids and TCC solenoid tests fine clicking on and off with scan tool function tests. I refill with another 3.5 qts of Maxlife ATF, cleared the codes and drove it and notice it shifts fine in all gears but at cruise in 4th and fifth with light tip in on throttle I see the rpm flare up indicating some slippage like the Torque Converter clutch is toast. I return to garage and unplug the TCC solenoid and the check engine light comes on immediately with a TCC code for high input. Plugged a noid light into the connector and cleared code and it took half the day of driving around before it set a CEL P0700 and saw code P0741 in Automatic Transmission again for TCC stuck off, but no transmission flare up in any gears or going into limp mode anymore. Seems these Honda BGA5 speeds haven't been really all too robust or forgiving for lack of regular drain and fill maintenance. Needed my noid light but I found a suitable dash light size bulb and small socket with little metal male terminals I trimmed plastic away and plugged in the TCC harness plug. Aside from an unusual whining noise the trans makes for awhile after start up idling when stone cold.I think she'll get by with it for awhile until it starts going into limp mode again sooner or later and then it be all she wrote for that trans. Hope to mend up from surgery I had on the Dec 20th and be in better shape to do anything at all let alone doing a trans R&R , but happy to get her trans drive able with a drain and fill with TCC unplugged for now. Tried to reset the VSA warnings with code 84-1 repeating the VSA neutralization procedure, even trying a paper clip but still no luck. Might need to get a new Yaw Sensor. I know it needs to be zeroed out but on level ground , Yaw sensor reads a ridiculous -124 degrees. My luck when I get new sensor and pull the trim around the front center of dash console area, I'm going to find the metal bracket of the dash the yaw sensor mounts to somehow got mangled to accommodate an aftermarket radio installation :-(
