I have a Modis Ultra and i am having nothing but problems hooking up to my range extender. The network works with my phone and laptop so is there a parameter that im missing. i have tried it transmitting on wep, wpa wpa2 none seem to allow it to connect. It does however connect to my main router which is wep.

I'm thinking you need to install Shop Stream Connect program on a Windows PC and whatever WIFI capability the Modis Ultra possesses is probably limited to what SSC will allow it to access and do. (Maybe Sure Track is it ) printing wire less ly? I had to return my range extender and upgraded my ATT 2-Wire Gateway to the newer ATT Uverse I seemed to get just enough range to use the laptop out in my garage most of the time
My Port Freight 08 I can print wireless from a program on my PC which I like . On Port Freight 08, you can type in and go to a random website but it's so woefully slow and sucks , Port Freight 08 loads a web page like dial up and if just one piece of Adware got to it, I know it would be toast. I'm sure the Modis Elite boots in half the time as a Port Freight 08, and Snappy could easily make that tablet be able to access the net independent of SSC, but it is meant to be a tool ,not a toy , and other than having a couple extra scope channels with a larger screen , then there wouldn't be enough of a reason to upgrade to a Verus for another $4k if Modis Ultra it could do it all ,now would there be?
