Android Endoscope a better cheaper option for mechanics?

I have been mulling over getting my own personal digital inspection camera like this SO one in this video, or a Milwaukee one , but low on funds.

I just bought a $ 59.99 digital inspection camera from Port Freight because I know I got to have something to look into cylinder bores and into areas I cannot see. It requires 4 AA batteries, it cannot take and store photos or video, but it has a video out cable that seems to be a hassle which sort of bums me out as far as being able to easily save something to show , or send to customers. I go on You Tube to learn how to use the adapters and I come across a way cheaper Android Endoscope that renders the hand held video head units obsolete! Basically attach a $20 USB corded camera to your smart phone and download free USB camera apt for your phone. Here's a link to one.

    $20 Android Endoscopes

Makes one suspicious of any little white Chrismas ambiance lights strung around your hotel room

After a bad case of Montezuma's Revenge and a final cleansing Enema , I could even save myself $6k on a Colonoscopy. Could give new meaning to the name Bottom Feeder.

I'm not too happy with the mirror attachment because of the quality of the image I get when using the mirror attachment. I think the mirror has imperfections that become magnified and it's sort of like looking through a windshield with raindrops on it with the sun on it. You can still see things up close pretty well. Used it last week to see a coolant leak source on a VW golf, better than an inspection mirror. The image is pretty good without the mirror, but most of viewing likely require the mirror.
I think the Android Endoscope be better with the USB Camera app off a smart phone that I can actually record video and take photos and show it. Didn't even know it existed
