Years ago i bought a HF OBD EOBD code scanner with CAN capability that I replaced my older MATCO generic OBD2 code scanner that would not scan the newer CAN cars I was starting to see at the Ford dealer when all I wanted was a quick 30 second check for pending codes before and after working on most cars.
The cable finally need replacement and get a replacement that doesn't work because the pinout on the cable end that hooks to code scanner is different, and I sent cable back.
I bought another replacement HF code scanner (successor w ABS), the cable from the new successor did not work on the old scan tool either. I tried graphing of the o2 sensor on several vehicles but the 2008 Dodge Ram 6cyl half ton pickup , the scantool was unable to process and display the data correctly in graph mode. Maybe a Chrysler just deciding to use a unconventional pid transfer rate to mess up aftermarket tool users.

Thought I might have to wire an air bag to a16pin CCD adapter.
