2008 Chevy avalanche airbag light

Was hit down drivers side not to hard but air bag list is on i got a modis ultra scannex the codes got a B0052 put a new password seat belt sensor in and get the B0052 along with a B0081 with the new seat belt sensor but only aB0052 with the old seat belt sensor any ideas does it need a new sdm since it sent a deployment code kinda of stumped with the gm air bag thanks

If the SDM had 3 or more past pre tensioner deployments you won't be able to erase the B0052 code any longer and have to replace the SDM after you are sure you fixed the system circuit problems and or replaced spent pretensioners I think the B0081 has something to do with passenger presence sensor (occupant sensor , seat sensor ?)

As far as I know it was never hit before none of the seat belts are locked up like they went off no air bags went off could the belts go off and work as normal that's why this one has got me stumped every works fine on it I appreciate your help

have a 2014 Altima unable to reset abs light replaced both rear sensors and rr wheel bearing have signal on data stream but cant turn light out any ideas

As far as I know it was never hit before none of the seat belts are locked up like they went off no air bags went off could the belts go off and work as normal that's why this one has got me stumped every works fine on it I appreciate your help

Like freeze frame data for an engine code that set, I'm thinking there might also be a Snap Shot of crash data event(s) stored that might be able to be accessed an viewed with a the right scan tool. Besides the SDM it looks like there is a separate Occupant Presence module to complicate things when trying to clear codes. Maybe try a Tech 2 (if it still supports 2014) or try and borrow Chinese Hack older pre lawsuit Port Freight 08 you might be able to view live pre-tensioner squib circuit resistances and compare them and graph changes as you wiggle wire harnesses, etc I know I could with some Fords.

After replacement of sensors and clearing codes, did you drive the car at over 25 mph afterwards versus just spinning the rear wheels on the lift to confirm the rear wheel signals?

Tech 2 support ended with 2013 model year.

Thanks for your help talked the boss in to putting in a new sdm and got it programed cause I don't have a pass thru device and all lights are out appreciate the help
