I am looking for a good waveform correlation between CAM and CRANK. I need to verify the the timing.

I would think if a cam gear jumped a tooth a running or cranking cylinder compression test with a pressure transducer might tell you when the valves are actually opening and closing in relation to TDC of compression stroke. Unfortunately the search bar on this forum has been disabled. My hunch is Snappy doesn't want the past posts containing great free information from being archived by Mooches any longer and wants every one to Pony up for Shop Key or something. No one from Snappy has weighed in on why the forum search bar disabled or when it will works again , Maybe planning to make it an extra cost item? I guess there be a lot more unanswered redundant questions that could be avoided if the search bar worked.

Recently I checked cam and Crank sensor pattern on a running 2004 Lincoln Navigator 5.4 and had to set my time base to 50ms to view the cam sensor signal correctly.
