    Ethos Pro triggers airbag light?

    Greetings.

We have recently begun using an Ethos Pro at our shop. On 3 occasions now we have scanned a vehicle that had some codes, but no airbag codes. Upon clearing the original codes, the occupant classification system has been triggered (all vehicles were Toyota/Lexus) and required sensors to be replaced.

This has only occurred since we started using the scanner. Has anyone run into a similar situation and/or have any insight on the manner?

On occasion a scanner can have a communication problem with a car and trigger a light, or some other communication problem. It's not common, but it can happen. I've never heard of a scanner making a sensor fail though. If fact, I'm don't think it's possible.
What airbag sensors did you replace to fix the light?
