Modis or Versus 14.2

Hello,

New to this forum. I currently have a MT2500 and am looking to upgrade. I am quite familiar with the Modis. My dealer has a used Modis with 14.2 and a used Versus with 14.2 software installed and both have Euro. He is asking $1k more for the Versus. Is the added price worth it for the Versus? I have heard some bad things about it, but most have them have been with the older softwares. I work on a wide verity of vehicles. I guess, what is everyone's opinion on the Versus with 14.2 software?

I love my Modis and will always keep it, but I have a Verus Pro that I always end up grabbing first. The wireless and lack of personality keys is a big plus for me. It would definitely be worth a grand to me, but that's me. You may be different.
One more great feature of the PC based scanners is that they automatically record a trouble code list. Once you pull the codes they are added to the Vehicle Info screen. No more jotting down the codes or taking screen shots of them to remember them.
Maybe ask him if you can road test them for 2 or 3 days. Put them to work and see what you think for yourself.

Totally agree the verus assuming its a pro, is well worth the price difference. I love mine, granted I have a few other choices at hand it's what I always grab first.
