    Land Rover wishes and problems

    Hi.
I'm very happy with the recent new land rover stuff on solus pro,I work in dealership and believe or not I prefer it more than SDD but there is few problems:
1.Will not reset SRI on Sport and Discovery 3 if mileage to reset(in minus )is too high, didn't reset -16450 overdue, but confirmed on screen as reset.
2.Manual procedure will not reset SRI on Range Rover 2005 TD6.
3.Also will not reset SRI manual or CAN on Range Rovers.
4.Will not set suspension in tight tolerance on some early discovery 3 but confirms on screen as done.

There was no problem with the cars because all of it was completed by SDD.

anyway it does great job for me

    but please please put :
    1.Parking aid codes and data
2.Fuelling compensation on all cylinders TD6
    3.Instrument pack codes and data
    4.Fuel prime routine TDV6
    5.BCM configuration

    Land Rover

    IDT7,

Thanks for posting that stuff, that's what Snap-on needs to hear. It's good to hear what the needs are, and that you are using a Solus Pro at the dealership.

Interesting that you prefer the Solus Pro. Is it because it boots up quick? I would like to hear why.

For those of us who aren't familiar, what is SDD ?

    Thanks, Bob

Cheers for reply, yes Solus can connect with control module within seconds and saved me a lot of time on basic stuff mainly on Sport and disco3,
I think it may be massive competitor for dealer's diagnostic platform(SDD) in all non dealer garages ,to be honest on the top of stuff I've previously written if it would do:
Tow bar configuration on all models including Freelander 2,Active Ride Control Module codes and data + functional test, most of land rover dealerships would buy it.
SDD is Symptom Driven Diagnostics,Land Rover Dealer diagnostic system

        Hi IDT7,
Thanks for your comments and suggestions. I have passed this thread along to product development.
