Older MT3000 on a 6 volt positive ground car

I know this is asking something from the past. But can a Older MT3000 scope be used on a 6 volt positive ground car ?

If so, what is the correct cables to use and connect.

It's been a long time since I had this tool and don't recall ever using it on 6 volt or positive ground vehicles. Searching around the internet and going on various AI sites I found both Yes you can and No you can't, even on the same AI platform. I haven't had time to watch this as it is an hour and twenty minutes long but here is an old Snap-on video on how to use the tool. MAYBE your answer is in there. Good Luck!
