No option for Sprinter gas engines

I had a 2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500, 3.5l V6 gas, VIN WD0PE246275113754, in today, that I had to shut off the check engine light. When IDing the vehicle I had no option for the 3.5l V6 gas vin 6 the only thing the scan tool would allow me to select was vin 5 V6 diesel. I am using Solus Pro with 8.4. The purpose of this thread is to make Snap On aware of a software issue, I hope I posted it in the right forum.

Yes you are in the right place. The 3.5 will be covered in 9.2 with engine, trans, gear selector, stability control and airbag. Euro coverage is usually a year or two behind, but not due to lack of effort. Information from the manufacturers is hard to come by.

Thanks for the heads up. Though this thread is kinda old I'm only a noob about snap-ons & it kinda gave me some nice thoughts.

9.4 was just released Oct 1st, and 9.2 was released in April. 9.2 had a huge amount of enhancements for Sprinters. Type "information" in the search block at the upper right side of this web page and check out the vehicle application guide.
