Modis Software CF card swap?

If you had two Modis units one had 8.2 the other 9.4 both fully working, can you simply swap the CF card from each around, or will it need to be in the specific Modis to work? In other words does the software know which Modis unit it is in?

No. you can't swap cards. Once a software update is installed, that CF card is locked to that Modis.

ok thanks, thought it might be like that, someone has a dead Modus on 9.4 mine is 8.4 so wondered if I could use the CF card.. shame

no it wont .If u have two modis.. if u ask. I bet your tool man.will help.
