    Modis communication problem

    I have an illuminated airbag light in a Fiat Punto convertible R/H drive 1996 model 90 ELX manual.
    The Modis connection is behind the dash CD player and when connected to the Modis the unit displays no communication


    any ideas why no communication or indeed why the airbag light stays on??

    no problem with the battery or alternator as i have had them checked and i have connected and disconnected the modis several times.

      Hi another member has had a similar problem with a Solus pro. Try the system ID Mode. Also ensure that the DLC connector has live and earth present otherwise communication will not happen

          The alf-1 adapter requires a power to be supplied to the side of it. Did you connect the power cord to the side of the adapter?
