went out to a pug 206 52 plate 1.4mpi hooked up the scanner along with a s50 key no communication this seems to be getting a regular thing for me with this scanner just wondered if anyone else has had this same problem with this model of car software version is 8.2 i no i am a little behind with the updates but i can't justify putting more money into the solus as its just not earning its keep so to speak.

Not come across it myself to press, but if communication is a problem with the Solus, then first off check you have power at terminal 16 of the DLC, and a ground refererence at pin 4, pin 5 should also have a signal ground reference present. If you find any problems here the Solus won't communicate with the car?
If you can communicate but the scanner is not selecting the correct system, then go into ID mode and select vehicle specifics from there.
