But i have a 2000 Pontiac Grand am in our shop. It originally came in with a blown front seal on the power steering pump. Replaced pump, all was good for a week or 2, when it came back with a leak. This time it was the O-ring on the reservoir, assumed faulty replacement part, repaired, test drove, gave back to customer. Again it was good for about 2 - 3 weeks, when it blew the reservoir o-ring again, this time when it came in I noticed quite a bit of pressure in the system when i popped the cap. It vented a substantial amount of air. So i turned my attention to the cap, and noticed that the vent in the cap seemed plugged, replaced the cap, test drove several times, no leaks, no pressure build up. After about a month of being fine, it again started leaking, and the pressure build up is back. I am wondering if you guys have any idea what may be causing the pressure to build up like this, or if you have ran into similar problems at all with these pumps,
Thanks in advance,
