gmc yokun 2008

Sir,

I got a solus v#9.2 bundle how ever, I tried to check this list on vehicle for GMC Yokun 2008 vin code 1GKEK13JX8J24 ENGINE code "J" is not on the list instead "G" only, and i tried to used this wrong engine code but it mentioned no communication even on the global obdII test no communication also.
Anybody can help on this

Are you using a North American Scanner. If it is not reading both manufacturer nor Global, it is possible that it is a problem with the scanner as they use two different bus lines. I would try a different cable, or OBD connector first. If not try another vehicle, or another scanner on the same vehicle. Sorry for all the options but just some of the things I have done in the past to figure out the problems. Good Luck Buddy

As NickB said first we need to know if you are using the US build or not. I am using a higher build then you are and I see the there are 5 choices for Yukons all with the 5th digit of the VIN being K. Only one have the J motor, so make sure you built the vehicle correctly on the scanner as well.
