Vectra-C 2.2DT programming keys error

Hoping someone can give me a bit of advice?

We have a vectra-c 2002 2.2DT had it in for a engine change as it droped a big end shell and engine locked up while driving at around 40mph, fitted new engine and used vehcials own fuel pump (as already coded in) got diesal up to pump but looks like the pump is locked out as we getting nothing from pump to inectors, now the fun starts:

Ive hooked up our solospro and entered the CIM Modual program "special features" and reset and programmed the modual everthing went ok apart from when i got to the "code index" as i got a unsuccessfull error:
1 (0x01) [#94] (SendMsgEuro] CIM_VC

Went on to code immobilsser and keys, immob part went ok and then get another program keys unsuccessfull error:
1 (0x01) [#20] (SendMsgEuro] CIM_VC

So i wondered if someone could posible tell me if ime doing anything wrong or weather it sounds like the CIM Modual is at fault?

Spent around 6hours on this now and at my wits end and dont like being beaten so ime up for a last attemp to get this right before it goes into arriva!

I would ring scanlines UK and ask for their advise with regards the CIM_VC, they sound like a steering column module signal problem to me, but not 100%.

I would not change parts unnecessarily as the vehicle was running before.

Also, the Vectra's leak offs from the injectors having the slightest air leak present due to pourous pipes will completely stop the engine running, so if in any doubt change them all.

Thanks for that david i think i might have to as we've just pulled the car back out of vauxhall (today) after them having it for 5weeks, now there saying there is no comms with the BCM and there answer is to throw a new one on it and then try to program the keys but ovbiously if it doesnt program they want to do more diagnostic work to find out why which is costing money and to be honest i dont see the point of paying them to do work i could do myself.

i was talking to someone today about it though and when i first reset and tryed to reprogram ecu IE: High Mid Low Speed CAN configuration ect ect i didnt note down the original configurations e.g (Presant or Not Presant) so ime not 100% sure if this is where my problem lies ?

and ime also wondering if i swap the bcm for a second hand one will solve the issue of me not noting down the original configurations or wether to fit a new one at the cost of £130.00 +vat

ovbiously ime trying to keep the cost down as much as i can as this job is now mounting up considerably.


I think ime going to have to try and get hold of the service manual for this so i have some much needed information at my finger tips.
