chevrolet epica service light reset

Hi
can anyone tell me if the Epica service light can be reset without use of
diagnostic equipment, remember reading somewhere that if you turn ignition on and press accelerator three times
this can reset it but unsure how correct this is.

There isn't an Epica model in the US, so, I'm not able to answer. Any chance the answer is in the owner's manual?

I wasn't sure if there would be an epica model available in the us but at least someone has taken the time to replay so i can look elsewhere for the answer.
