    Modis/Solus v7.4 Update...what's included?

    Hi All-

I'm new to the Modis/Solus platforms and have a couple questions. I know a new update is due this April for both platforms, but I'm trying to get a handle on exactly what's included in the updates.

The Snap-On diagnostic website specifically calls out:
    • 2007 GM coverage
    • 2006 Asian coverage
    • 2005 Asian drivability
    • 2005 Domestic and Asian ABS

There's no mention of Ford or Chrysler coverage. Do these makes constitute another software update? I've seen mention of a separate European update, which makes sense.

I'm just confused on what's included in the 7.4 update. Do the coverages specifically called out (i.e. GM coverage, Asian coverage, etc.) include the next level of manufacturer-specific information beyond that provided by ODBII?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

      For 8.2 Release Software:
GM, Ford and Chrysler/Jeep thru '07
      Asian thru '06
Except Toyota/Lexus, Nissan/Infinity, Scion, Subaru and Isuzu. They are thru '07
      Benz and VAg Thru '06
BMW thru '05 (I believe this is unchanged from 7.4)
      All Troubleshooters thru 2006

Body and Airbag Troubleshooting added for select Models. See the coverage guide for specifics.

Lots of EVAP Related Functional Tests and Data added this update...which I think is cool. Check out the new GM Purge and Seal Test on GMs. You can close the Vent Valve and open the Purge Solenoid at the same time to do a Vacuum Decay Test.
