    Adding OEM Cruise Control

I've added factory cruise to a couple of newer Ford trucks by changing the clock spring and adding the steering wheel switches and harness then reprogramming the PCM to by going to the parameters settings menu and going to speed controls. It's an actual reflash of the PCM and takes about 10 minutes. The rest of the hardware including the brake switches was already in the base vehicle. Does any one know if factory cruise can be safely added to a GM truck (2008) ?

I just added cruise to an 07 Silverado with a 6.0. Just had to put the stalk on the column and wire 4 wired to the throttle control module in the firewall. Easy-Peasy. The bulb for the cuise light was already in the instrument cluster.

Cruise is a relatively simple add on most ETC equipped GMs that are not "Global-A" vehicles.
