Can I use a desk top computer instead of a laptop to reprogram?

Why not? Just install a wireless PCI adapter, but you are still at the mercy of extension cord with the desktop PC on a cart and long USB cable running through the car window, but it should be possible.Kinda like using a Counselor 2 instead of a Vantage Pro to scopeCan I use a desk top computer instead of a laptop to reprogram?

If you can get it close enough to the vehicle so the J2534 tool will plug in and you have the correct software in it.Comment
