If anyone has any tips for programming any make/model modules you should post them here. I have programmed hundreds of GM modules and am gaining more experience every day with other makes. I have been watching this forum and not much new has been posted lately. Is this because everything is going smoothly for everyone? Or am I the only one that has challenges with programming? An ongoing dialogue of problems/resolutions would be the best way for anyone to learn new ways/procedures to use our P2PII to its best advantage. How about it guys?

I found a guy selling a PTP for a thousand dollars. I havent had any experience with it yet, but I have had customers needing their ecu flashed/reprogrammed. Wondering what are shops charging for flashing these days?

call a few shops and dealers in your area to find out what they are charging.

I'm looking at purchasing the passthru. What are the limitations to programming? Can you program any module, providing the dealer releases the software. Thanks

I suggest you go to the flash programming forum on this site and start reading. Follow the links and read all you can there too. Go to Drew-tech.com and see the videos, nastf.com and follow their links. Then come back with more specific questions. The short answer is no.
