I am working on a 2008 jeep rubicon (written on hood) brought to me from a tranny shop friend of mine. He says pcm isnt turning on cyl #2 and 5. He is right so he bought a new pcm from dealer. I tried severl times yesterday to flash it and kept getting file currput after the flash message would appear.
well i uninstalled the flash program from
ta, cleaned the registry of it and reinstalled and that, currupt file message is gone now after the flash. the fans come on stay on ey off etc etc, all is fine there. but i now get a throttle light on the dash? no codes in pcm? starts fine fines fine but i have no throtle. i wrote the vin just fine? am i using wrong file from TA, its gi9ves me same options each time i use either vin or year make or model. so i dont thuink thats it. i know its going to be something stupid. it works just fine with old pcm which is 1005 same as new one from dealer part number, its 100% new also. the old one misses but throttle works, new one dont miss but no throttle?

ANY HELP ideas would be great. ill keep looking online on Ta fro info as well as alldata and mitchell but im missing somthing rel stupid. ive done may of flashing on many of makes but never had this issue....
and yes i have done throttle relean like three times...im leaning towards bad pcm...i know its nuts but ive never ha done do this its really not to much it could be..the flash went good files good, files right..
