COP signature waveform

I had some spare time today and decided to use it to get more familiar with the scope on my Modis.

I bough my own car in to the shop (an Australian 2004 falcon) inline 6cyl engine with COP.

I did a signature test of the number 2 coil and found this.

At idle (the bottom) it look to me like there are 3 spark events, then at 2000rpm there is one. Being a beginner, I just want to confirm what i'm seeing. There are no faults with this car.

It's a multi-spark system. What you are seeing is normal. Hook up a current probe to the power supply that feeds all coils and you will be able to pick out failed and failing ignition coils, even if no code has set yet.
